# Koskari > Koskari is a Lisp dialect for Python. Source files (.ki) combine an > indentation-based layout syntax with s-expressions, are expanded > through hygienic macros, and compile to bytecode that runs on > Koskari's own stackless evaluator inside CPython (3.9 through 3.14). Koskari code and Python code import each other directly: Koskari modules, functions, and classes are ordinary Python objects, and Python classes can be subclassed from Koskari. Awaitable values are awaited where they are used, with no async markers. The evaluator supports tail calls, delimited multi-shot continuations, and call/cc. Koskari is not Python and not Scheme. Priors from either language produce invalid or wrong source. Before writing Koskari, consult the MCP server below; its documentation and verified examples are the authoritative reference. ## MCP server - [koskari-corpus](https://corpus.koskari.org/mcp): streamable HTTP MCP endpoint, no authentication. Serves the Koskari documentation and a corpus of verified example programs with expected results at the read, expand, compile, and eval phases. Tools: - `search_docs`: full-text search across documentation pages and examples - `search_examples`: search verified example programs, optionally by feature path - `get_reference`: fetch the full content of one page or example by path On first use, call `get_reference` with path `agents/index.md`. It maps which page answers which question, gives the rules for writing syntactically valid Koskari source, and lists the pitfalls for Python and Scheme habits. Client configuration: ```json { "mcpServers": { "koskari-corpus": { "type": "http", "url": "https://corpus.koskari.org/mcp" } } } ``` ## Discovery - [AI Catalog](https://koskari.org/.well-known/ai-catalog.json): machine-readable catalog listing the MCP Server Card for koskari-corpus ## Optional - [Corpus service](https://corpus.koskari.org/): human-readable landing page for the MCP service
